In March 2008 I joined Mr Dirk Kam, chairman of the Mesics Foundation on his annual trip to West Africa where his foundation sponsors several projects.

We started in Abidjan in Ivory Coast and travelled by car along the coast to Ghana, Togo and Benin. We visited many interesting projects and next to that  I was able to picture elements of the very colourful life in this part of Africa.
