Opposition plans demonstrations against dictatorship.

  1. Members of the group of political parties to finalize the transition and the Alliance for Democracy and Progress (ADP) hosted a joint press conference in Conakry on Thursday, December 8, 2011.
First of all, UFDG (Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea, EL Hadj Cellou Dalein Diallo deplored the lack of dialogue since the arrival of Alpha Condé to power. "On November 15, when the president received political actors, the Guinean thought the obstacles that prevented the holding of dialogue were lifted, while we see on the ground after this dialogue show, nothing is done to gather around a table to talk about the legislative elections "
The leader of the UFDG denounced the actions of the electoral institution on the ground. "Until now the CENI ( Independent Electoral Commission) is driven from performing acts that are unfortunately legitimized by the ruling regime. All arrangements are made for a full census, when we asked Government to stop it, they told us that the CENI is independent. The CENI can not be a monster, if it so we must kill it, "he added. "This is an eloquent illustration of a lack of dialogue," he says.
For the president of UFR (Union of Republican Forces) Sidya Toure, "this is the era of balance sheet. I think it is time to show the results to Guineans, he said. The minimum we can ask is what they did in 12 months. What is their perspective? He asks. In any case I know nothing, he insists. Within a week or ten days, one can ask what they did last year, no one will tell you that the regime did something good except the uniqueness of the State Fund, he joked. Now to have electricity, you have to do like Coronthie kids who blocked the road in the morning and sequestered the Energy Minister there ″.
As for UFC (Union of Forces for Change) leader, he talks about about the solidarity of the opposition to a collective action in order to counter this dictatorial regime. "The emergence of a new dictatorship" .he argued that the parties that make up the collective and the ADP plan to organise peaceful demonstrations throughout the country. "We will organize peaceful demonstrations to inform citizens about the refusal of authorities to organize the elections. We also organize a caravan together for democracy that will interlace in all natural regions "
regarding PEDEN Secretary General (Party of Hope for National Development) Djalikatou Diallo she talked about Lansana Kouyaté’s tour in Upper Guinea, which was suppressed by the police in Kankan". We do not even think that the one with whom we had fought together against the military regime would repeat the same bad practices, the minimum of consensus we had until the election had been and we lost all the gains we had achieved, we wonder between the military regimes and this civilian regime, which is more democratic? ". She asks.
Concerning NFD (New Democratic Forces) leader Mouctar Diallo, he added "We do not need time to perform acts; the evidence is that when Mr.Sidiya Touré was prime minister in a short period of time he made a lot of things, we have seen what he had achieved despite the present difficult circumstances. This proves that we are ruled by an incompetent regime. Water and electricity is becoming increasingly rare. They have shown their proof of incompetence ".
