Nigerian banks to introduce new e-packages

    Due to the directives of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on full implementation of electronic payment systems in Nigerian banking industry, Fin Bank Nigeria plc has reiterated its commitments to remain a market leader in the e-payment industry in Nigeria.

    The bank which recently re-branded, changing its logo and name from the former First Inland Bank plc to the present Fin Bank plc is positioning to take delivery of new businesses, greater opportunities and challenges in the New Year.

    Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Suzanne Iroche says the products which the bank intends to attract new business opportunities in the ever competitive banking industry in Nigeria include; Visa Cards, Pay-roll Solutions and Flash Wallet are to drive its retail banking business.

    In recent times, the banking terrain in Nigeria has become more competitive with each bank strategizing to stay afloat and increase capital base, of course new innovations and introduction of new products into the market is a major advantage.

    However, Fin bank had been at the forefront of product innovation on the e-Banking space in Nigeria with a good record in recent times especially after the new management constituted by the Apex Bank.

    It would be recalled that Fin Bank plc and other five had their top executives sacked by the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi in a thorough cleaning exercise to avoid the total collapse of the banks which were internally becoming weak.
