    - We are Kenyan Human Rights activists writing from Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya. We write to draw the attention of international human rights groups and the world in general to the deteriorating human rights situation in Kenya. On 27th December 2007, a hotly contested presidential election was held in Kenya in which the incumbent president was declared the winner on 30th December 2007. The opposition (ODM party) and election observers categorically stated that the elections were not free and fair on grounds of glaring anomalies observed in the tallying process.
