John Oryem Onguti Loguca is a senior editor with an online support group for writers and authors; author-me.com. He was appointed recently as Chief Bureau Officer for Sudan by Newsudanvision.com. Oryem is volunteering to assist several upcoming writers from Africa and elsewhere around the globe including southern Sudan. His short stories, excerpts, essays and poetry appeared in several websites, magazines, newspapers and journals. Oryem's recent works are published in variety of anthologies such as Author Africa 2005 and In our own words: Generation Defining itself Vol. VI. Oryem was born in 1969, Kampala, Uganda. He was educated at St. Theresa's Torit, Palotaka, St. Mary's Seminary; Torit-Juba and Comboni El-Obeid. Oryem read philosophy and theology at St. Paul's Khartoum, until 1998. He is holding a certificate in journalism from St. Paul's and currently finishing his MA in political anthropology at University of Western Kordofan. He is the author of The Bone Of My Heart; Dr. John Garang De Mabior: In Memoriam; Into the Master's footsteps: Bishop Antonio Menegazzo, his short story anthology is under consideration; Amna's Tears and Other stories. Oryem works between Kordofan and Darfur as a Catholic priest.
