The very earliest civilizations known and unknown to human kind first took shape in Africa, by Africa’s native people. People who were as dark as midnight summer skies, and as connected to nature as a new born baby is attached to its mother’s breasts. While countries like Australia, America, Canada and North Africa have lost almost all of their native people to the brutality of colonialism. Africa has somewhat been spared. The most ignored South African traditional musicians were honored at the annual Music Awards (SATMA) in the month of October. It kicked off with cultural parade, which included thousands of people, with beautiful topless young girls from all across the country, showing off their womanhood. - With distinguished guests such as Iliyasa Shabazz, daughter of Malcolm X, Leader of Inkatha Freedom Party; His Exellency Prince Dr. Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Premier of Kwa-Zulu Natal; Sbusiso Ndebele, ANC leader Jacob Zuma and many more, it was a party of a life time.

Inspirational African-American Malcolm X is to be honoured by South African Traditional Music Awards founder - SATMA. He is to be awarded for inspiring millions of Africans and others worldwide. The founder Dumisani Goba said their event is purposed to honour and recognize legends. - In a recent visit to the US, Goba and his partners - Getsemane Khumalo and Mangaliso Bhuthelezi – disclosed that the daughter of X is scheduled to receive the award in front of millions of South African viewers.

Foundered by a young black entrepreneur Dumisani Goba, this event honors and recognizes legends of traditional South African music across the spectrum. Together with his partners Getsemane Khumalo and Mangaliso Bhuthelezi, Mr. Dumisani Goba was first able to visualize the award ceremony, with the view that the traditional music in South Africa had always taken the back banner.
