Subject: Invitation to Bid for the supply of Laboratory Equipment and Consumables

The Pan African Veterinary Vaccine Centre of the African Union Commission kindly invites Bids for the supply of different types of laboratory equipment and consumables as per the specifications and quantities in the Bid Documents. The Bid is divided in to two lots: Lot one Laboratory Equipment and Lot two Laboratory Consumables. The Bidder is free to Bid for either lot one, lot two or both.

1.Bids must be submitted in plain and sealed envelope by 23rd September 2007 with title / number of the Bid clearly indicated on top of the envelope.
2.The deadline for submission of Bids is Monday, 23rd September 2007 at 17 hours.
3.Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders’ or their representatives who choose to attend at 10: AM on Tuesday, 24 September 2007 in AU/ANVAC office, Debre Zeit.
4.Bids should be submitted to the following address:

5.A complete set of Bid documents in English language may be purchased upon payment of a non – refundable fee of USD 50, from the Finance Office of the AU/PANVAC located with in the premises of National Veterinary Institute of Ethiopia, Debre Zeit.
