  1. Video made by: Isaac Eshun, edited by: Esme Atsyornu
On Friday night Ghana came to a standstill since everyone was watching the World Cup quarter final against Uruguay. The game ended in an anti-climax when Ghana missed two penalties during the shoot out. Reporter Isaac Eshun captured the emotions from the fans.

Ghana’s Black Stars were within seconds of making history and becoming the most successful African team of all time, the first to reach the World Cup semi-finals. They were denied, with time expiring, in an extraordinary series of twists and turns – first by an illegal Uruguayan handball, then by a failed penalty shot that hit the crossbar, and finally by an error-strewn penalty sequence that left Uruguay the winner, 4-2 on penalty kicks.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Asamoah Gyan Thank You! Thank You ! Thank You ! All

    During The Match Vs. Uruguay, I Was A Typical Fan (Fanatic);

Praising The Good And Criticising The Bad. And I Was Much

Worse When You Guys Proved To Be Imperfect (As We All Are).

Later I Reflected On What You Had Done And What Ghana

Represented. You Represent Via The Black Star :

    a) The Vision Of The Honorable Marcus Garvey

    b) The Insight Of The Honorable Kwame Nkrumah

    c) The Hopes Of All The Black Africans In Exile & Pseudo-Captivity

Via Poverty , Oppression & Depression

Asamoah Gyan , Richard Kingson, Kevin-Prince Boateng,

Jonathan Mensah, Hans Sarpei, John Pantsil, Anthony Annan

,Lee Addy , Kwadwo Asamoah ,Andre Ayew ,Prince Tagoe ,Sulley

Mantari ,Quincy Owusu-Abeyie ,Stephen Appiah ,Matthew Amoah

,John Mensah ,Derek Boateng , Isaac Vorsah , Samuel Inkoom

,Dominic Adiyiah ,Daniel Agyei ,Rahim Ayew ,Stephen Ahorlu ,

Michael Essien and Milovan Rajevac ; Thank You For A Superb

    Team Effort !!!

God Talks To Us In Mainly Two(2) Ways :

    1) While We're Conscious

    2) When We're Sleeping With Our Soul (So-Called Unconscious)

For Many Of Us, We Become Tired Of Hearing The Same

Truth. Because Of This, Our Spiritual Ears Get Filled With Wax.

So God Has To Try Another Way of Reaching Us; Provided That

We Really Want Love & Truth In Our Lives.

If We Want The Truth And For Some Reason Aren't Listening

To Some Verbal Communications Expressing The Truth, Then

God Will Find Another Way To Get To Us What We Want & Need.

I Believe That The World Cup Game Of Uruguay Vs. Ghana

Was One(1) Of Those Moments When God Was Expressing

Himself Via Our Actions. Ghana Was Representing The Whole Of

Africans In Africa & Abroad. And No One In Their Right Mind Can Deny That Africa

Has Suffered Under Poverty, Oppression & Depression.

Let's Look At The Last Parts Of The Match :

    a) The Hand Ball By Suarez Should Have Resulted In The

Winning Goal Being Awarded To Ghana Without The Necessity Of

Taking A Penalty Shot. The Penalty For That Hand Ball Should

    Have Been A Goal .

    * But Because We Have No Instant Replay Or Any Other Modern System For

Addressing Issues Like This At This Most Critical Time No Goal Was Awarded.

So What Can Others Do When They See Defeat..Just Place Your Hand Up And Hope For

A Miss On The Penalty Kick.

    * This Oversight was So Blatant..There Was Nothing Between

Suarez's Hand And The Ball But The Back Of The Net.

    * I Hope FIFA Will Begin To Update Some Archaic Oppressive

    Ways Of Managing Soccer Matches

    * But If We Can Have The Black Sox Scandal Of 1919 In American Baseball ; Where

Professionals Can Be Paid To Lose The World Series..Why Can’t This Happen At The

World Cup ? Where Professionals Are Paid To Make Sure The Teams They Want To

    Win Do So.

    b) Asamoah Gyan ,John Mensah and Dominic Adiyiah All Failed

To Come Through During This Most Critical Time. What Does

    This Mean ?

    * Number 1- Even In Defeat They Continued To Play Like A Team.

But Asamoah Gyan " Manned Up " With Support From His

Teammates , When He Got Another Chance.

    Bottom Line

    - Suarez Legally Stole The Game For Uruguay Via His Handball And

-The Uruguay Penalty Kick That Won The Game Was :

    a) An Unconscious Recognition By The Kicker That They

Shouldn't Have Even Been In This Position To Win A Game That

    Uruguay Had Already Lost.

    - He Kicked The Ball Slowly And Right Where GoalKeeper

    Richard Kingson Would Have Been

    b) GoalKeeper Richard Kingson's Being Deceptively-Duped By

The Uruguayan Penalty Kicker Was A Microcosm Of How All Of

Africa Has Continued To Be Deceived And Duped Into " GIVING

    AWAY " Our Resources.

    - Check Out " The Peculiar Institution " By Kenneth M. Stampp

If We Really Want To End Racism; As They Hyped Up Just Before

The Uruguay Vs. Ghana Game, Then Comprehensive

Reparations Must Be Given . I Say Comprehensive Because Not

Only Must Black Africans Be Repaired, But Those Who Damaged

    Them Must Be Internally-Repaired.

Ghana As A Black Star (Marcus Garvey / Kwame Nkrumah) Nation

Must Continue To Stride Toward Independence. All Of The Africans In Africa And

Abroad Must Stop The Wholesale Mortgaging Of Our Resources To The

    Robbers Of Our People.(Daniel 11:14)

Again Asamoah Gyan Thank You! Thank You ! Thank You ! I

Hope That One Day Ghana Will Consistently Have Ghanaian

Coaches. We Must Truly Reflect What The Black Stars Of Garvey

& Nkrumah Stand For ; Self-Sufficiency. If Asmoah Gyan Is Game,

I Nominate Him As Our Next World Cup Soccer Coach !!!

Congratulations Ghana maybe next time you will win the world cup.
Asamoah Gyan as player-coach next world cup sounds intriguing &
ALL AFRICAN NATIONS IN WORLD CUP 2014 HAVE AFRICAN COACHES
WHETHER MAINLAND OR FROM THE DIASPORA!!!!!!
Yes Ghana Gharvey that blatant handball by Suarez should have been
declared the winning goal & Ghana into the semis but also how about 5
substitutions during football matches at least in the world cup?

This may be an odd question, but does Ghana participate in any Winter Olympic sports? I heard of some people who may have a surplus of skis, ski pants, ski boots and other ski related equipment. They are closing their store and want to donate the stuff to a good cause. We have all followed Ghana's success in soccer, but do not know if they have other teams. If so, there may be aid for them. I will let them know, if it is not too late, if Ghana has a winter sports program.

GHANA did play the rounds very well. there was only one player who was noticed by people and he was Gyan. His game was wonderful and Ghana did seem to have some hope due to his presence.

Nicely presented information in this post, I prefer to read this kind of stuff. The quality of content is fine and the 32 weeks pregnant conclusion is good. Thanks for the post.
