Ghana: Coach Milovan to introduce new Players

    The Head Coach of the Ghana Black Stars Milovan Rajvac has promised to bring in new players to the national team in his quest to qualify the nation to both Angola and South Africa 2010.

    The Coach who recently monitoring players in Europe was in United States of America watching some promising players in the Major League and was impressed with what transpired.

    According to the Serbian, his ultimate goal to qualify the football loving country to the World Cup in South Africa hence the need for him and the technical handlers to do their best to ensure victory.

    Speaking to Joy FM an Accra based radio he said “I was in Europe also I was in United States and I saw some new players. Main purpose was to monitor our players, to check their form, to check some players who were injured before and how they are recovering coming into the game,”

    "The chance will be given to some young players. My assistant coach was in Britain and he was monitoring and he was talking to some new players who are coming up in England and from Ghana."

    Milovan who gave an opportunity to young and enterprising Udinese marksman Kojo Asamoah when the team played against Benin said "Kwadwo Asamoah is in an exceptional form and some other players. Those games are going to be very important for us.

    According to the Head Coach his boys are poised to get favourable results for the double qualifiers.

    With the two away games to play with Mali and Sudan, the Coach believes he has psychological advantage for these matches and is hoping for reasonable results.

    Before Ghana fly to Mali to meet the Eagles the team will be acclimatizing at Tamale for similar weather situation at Bamako, and on 30 May will log horn with Uganda in friendly match.

    The Black Stars topped the Group D with 3 points after beatean Benin at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the joint African and World Cup 2010 qualifiers.
