Ghana: Coach Le Roy calls 40 for CAN 2008

    The Head coach of Ghana Black Stars, Claude Le Roy, has invited 40 players to camp for the Ghana 2008. The training is slated early next month at the United Arab Emirates where the players invited would be in serious physical training and also engage in few matches.

    It was made known to the public today 18 December, 2007, and the coach would use the opportunity to select his final 23 man squad for the Ghana 2008 before CAF deadline on 10 of January where every team are to announce their players.

    There a lot of uncapped and young players who have been included in the list including 9 Home based.

    Ghana, who is in the Group A, is drawn alongside Namibia, Guinea and Morocco would be playing at the Accra Sports Stadium, where the only top 2 teams qualify to the next stage of the competition.
