Ghana: 32 Invited for Blacks Star Camp


  1. The Coach of Black Stars, Milovan Rajvac has invited 32 players for the joint World Cup and African Cup qualification.


    Players who had arrived in the country underwent a light jogging session with the team swinging in full scale training beginning Tuesday.

    Before the big games between Mali and Sudan the team are preparing for a friendly encounter with Uganda on Sunday.

    Both the Serbian and his Ghanaian Assistant Akwasi Appiah had toured Europe and America monitoring their boys in the various leagues.

    Incidentally, the inspirational Captain Stephen Appiah has pulled out of the game against Eagles of Mali citing family issues but was quick to announce his presents in the Sudan encounter.

    Already, the team is acclimatizing in the Northern Region of Tamale which has similar whether conditions in Bamako. Black Stars lead the group with 3 points after beating Benin in the first game.
