Cameroonian international and new Inter Milan sign on Samuel Eto'o is eager to shine in the upcoming Super Cup at the Bird's Nest this Saturday. His club - the current Serie A Champions - battles it out with Lazio - the Italian Cup winners. "I really want the Italian Super Cup so much," he said.
"Beating Lazio in Beijing would be the best way to pay back right away the faith I've felt in me. The club has done a lot for me, I have to pay it back on the field,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport in a Reuters report.
"I believe he will play as motivated as every other Inter player in this match on Saturday," Inter coach Jose Mourinho told reporters in Beijing on Wednesday. "We'll see how he does this week. What I'm sure of is he will definitely be on the pitch."
Cameroon international Eto'o moved from European champions Barcelona in a swap deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic last month and will be out to impress in his first match for Inter against Serie A opposition, the report added.
