Didier Drogba plans to discuss his future at Chelsea following the FA Cup final on May 30. The Ivory Coast striker has just 12 months left on his current contract and there are reports that his recent antics at the end of the Champions League semi final exit to Barcelona have put his Chelsea future in doubt.
Drogba has reportedly apologised, in person, to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich over his furious reaction to referee Tom Henning Ovrebo, and this could pave the way to a two-year contract extension for the 31-year-old.
“After the FA Cup final I want a meeting with the directors and then I will decide what is right for me,” Drogba said, according Setanta sports. “For now I just want to concentrate on winning a trophy with Chelsea.”
