The Majete Community Camp Site is a good example of how African Parks and the communities work together.
The camp site is built by African Parks Majete, but it will be run by representatives of the communities. The profits of camping will also go directly to the communities. Three camp staff have been trained and are enthousiasticly waiting for visitors to arrive! The site is not officially opened yet, but is open for tourism.
