Cellou Dalein held a big meeting in Conakry.

  1. As expected, the leader of the Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea (UFDG) Elhadj Cellou Dalein Diallo held a mass meeting on Monday 5 September at his party headquarters in Minière.
Relaxed, full of energy, vigor and hope, Cellou Dalein kept in suspense his militants massively mobilized for the event. It was noted alongside Cellou, the youth group leaders of political parties to finalize the transition with the Mouctar Diallo (NFD) and Dr. Faya Milimono (NGR)
. After thanking his fans, activists, supporters, allies and friends for the hearty welcome and mobilization, Elhadj Cellou Dalein Diallo warmly called upon them for the courage and determination they have shown for the party.

The leader of the UFDG recalled that he was abroad on a mission due to requests of many national and international institutions and wherever he went, he was listened with a big attention.

Visibly determined to play his role as a leader of the opposition, Cellou Dalein denounced the exclusionary policies of President Alpha Conde.
“Our struggle is not against a man or against a group of men, but against arbitrariness, injustice, exclusion and poverty”, said Cellou Dalein.

Talking about national reconciliation, "it can not be effective if President Alpha Condé does not stop his speech of exclusion and hatred. Everyone knows that the ethnic groups do not cause problem in Guinea but it is Alpha Condé and his incendiary speech. If Alpha Condé wants national reconciliation, he must change his speech. Then we will be open to dialogue because we want all Guineans to unit and live with respect and love.” added Cellou Dalein.

It was with joy and fervor that the activists meeting ended. A monstrous demonstration created a traffic jam and accompanied the UFDG leader to his home. Activists were chanting, dancing and singing for prosperity, justice and democracy in Guinea.
