The Senior National Team of Ghana, the Black Stars dream of qualifying to the World Cup is on course after beating the strongest opponent Eagles of Mali 2-0.
The game played in the night at Seidu Keita Sports Stadium in Bamako saw fully crowd Malians chanting for their stars but could not deter the myth of the Black Stars with totally new and young players some featuring for the first time.
The only two goals came in the second half of the game through the boots of young and enterprising striker Kwadwo Asamoah and his counterpart Matthew Amoah.
The victory kept Ghana top of the Group D table with six points, thus three points clear with four games to play.

The technical bench led by Milovan Rajvac in the dying minutes pulled out Opoku Agyman for Isaac Vorsah, Prince Tagoe for Haminu Dramani and Moussa Narry coming in for Michael Essien.
On the othehand, the other Group D match between Benin and Sudan saw Razak Omotoyossi scoring the only goal of the match for Benin at Cotonou.
