Angola 2010: …And giant Cameroon crumble

    Cameroon crumbled to an embarrassing 1-0 defeat by neighbours Gabon in their opening Group D game at the ongoing African Nations Cup in Angola. Striker Daniel Cousin hit the back of the net for the Panthers in the 17th minute when he coolly slotted home after being perfectly set up by Roguy Meye.

    No team qualified for this year’s World Cup finals have won a game at the Nations Cup so far with Cameroon, Algeria and Nigeria losing their opening matches and Ivory Coast being held to a draw, according to Reuters report.

    Ghana another World Cup 2010 bound is playing their first game against Ivory Coast on Friday.

    The game between Tunisia and Zambia ended one all. Cameroon will play Zambia and Gabon take on Tunisia in their next games on Sunday.
