60% OF JHS STUDENTS UNABLE TO GO TO SHS IN GHANA
- Recent studies conducted have shown that over 60 % of students from the junior high school in Ghana were unable to access senior high schools as a result of poor academic performance. The abysmal performance has been attributed to poor quality and the non availability of academic resources in the basic schools. The study formed part of the current education reforms taking place in the country. This was made known at a public briefing and opening Screening and Remediation Programme organized by Child Learning Development Organisation in Cape Coast.
