Chad legislative elections postponed to 2020 [The Morning Call]

Now, the long-delayed legislative polls that Chadian President Idriss Deby had vowed to hold by the end of the year are likely to take place in the first three months of 2020.

The country’s election board said on Thursday that “the realistic time frame for holding legislative elections (is) the first quarter of 2020”.
