Zimbabwe's Mnangagwa swears in new cabinet amid criticisms [The Morning Call]

Zimbabwe’s new leader Emmerson Mnangagwa swore in his new cabinet on December 4, 2017. He has however received criticisms over his cabinet appointments including that of Sibusiso Moyo, the general who played a prominent role in the recent military takeover.

According to political analysts and observers, Mnangagwa’s appointments suggests that the army has gained so much influence in the government, and will start to dominate it.

Zimbabwean citizens believe the new government’s lineup is uninspiring and even disastrous.
