Protests in Morocco's Al Hoceima region worrying [The Morning Call]

The arrest of an activist sparked protests in Morocco over the weekend, a rare scene in the kingdom’s al Hoceima region. Tensions have run high since activist Nasser Zef za fi was detained at the start of the week and charged with threatening national security. Political unrest is rare in Morocco but protests around al-Hoceima have been simmering since October after a fishmonger was crushed inside a garbage truck while trying to salvage his fish that had been confiscated by police.
