Chibok girls to meet with their parents next week [The Morning Call]

Eighty-two Chibok schoolgirls who were released after being held for more than three years by Boko Haram will be reunited with their parents next week. The release of the girls followed months of negotiations between the Nigerian government and Boko Haram.

And in the deal reached, five Boko Haram commanders were released in exchange for the freedom of the 82 Chibok schoolgirls. The government has however been criticised for swapping the girls for Boko Haram suspects as this this will only boost the Boko Haram insurgency.
