Mauritania PPA party halts participation in constitutional debate [The Morning Call]

Days after some opposition parties participating in the Mauritanian constitutional dialogue threatened to withdraw if the original agenda was not respected, a major player, the PPA party has decided to call it quits by suspending their participation. Earlier, the opposition slammed the government saying that revising and lifting off the two term clause for a sitting president would favour the incumbent, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz to extend his stay in office for a third term.
