Nigerian judges arrested, released over corruption charges [The Morning Call]

Nigeria over the weekend arrested seven of its top judges over allegations of corruption leveled against them as described by the arresting authority, the department of secret service. According to Nigeria’s local daily, the Vanguard, the judges have since been released with a source from the secret service saying they were released on self recognisance bail. The arrests were met with mixed reactions and criticism of president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration with some demanding for his impeachment.
