Mali struggling with insurgency [The Morning Call]

A lasting solution to the conflict in Mali is elusive amidst planned attacks that has so far left at least 74 peacekeepers dead and countries supporting the mission decision to withdraw support like the Netherlands. The office for the UN peacekeeping operations told the security council a lack of progress on the peace process would not allow the mission to fully carry out its mandate.
