FIDH summit opens in Johannesburg [The Morning Call]

With its constant calls for the United Nation to look into the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the International Federation for human rights is convening its members in South Africa where the caucus has announced the DRC and other issues will be put into focus. The organization has spearheaded several investigations into human rights violation, with the recent one being on Malian extremist Ahmad al Faqi standing trial at the ICC.
