South Sudan back to war? [The Morning Call]

The United Nations Security Council demanded that South Sudanese president Salva Kiir and first vice-president Riek Machar do their best to control their respective forces after violence erupted again in the country described by one of Riek Machar’s spokesperson as ‘South Sudan is back to war’. The clashes broke out on Thursday between troops loyal to president Salva Kiir, and soldiers who support the vice-president, Riek Machar.

Robert Kodingo and Hannane Ferdjani have the latest from Juba, the capital.
