Zimbabwe ‘s former Vice President, Joyce Mujuru, has rolled out a national campaign for the 2018 elections in Matabeleland, an opposition stronghold.

Mujuru who now leads the new opposition, Zimbabwe People First party
accused the government of being disinterested in the plight of the majority and promised to fight for the interests of ordinary citizens.
She told supporters at the rally that, ‘“Zimbwabe People First is a new democratic, inclusive political party that accomodates every Zimbabwean… Please, get it from me, I am not going back to Zanu PF”.
Joyce Mujuru was expelled from the ruling party in 2014 after being accused of hatching a plot to topple President Robert Mugabe.
