DRC: The "repressed" Congolese struggling to survive

The 140,000 citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo who were turned away from neighboring Congo – Brazzaville between April and September 2014, as part of an aggressive police operation to combat crime attributed to foreigners, are struggling to return to normal life. This story of the “repressed” who found refuge near the Malula stadium in DRC is of misery and violence throughout their daily lives.
