Inflation in Sudan
Inflation in Sudan peaked at 63.86 percent last June according to the central bureau for statistics in Khartoum.
High inflation rate has led to an increase in the prices of basic goods like sugar, flour and drugs. Meanwhile, the Sudanese currency also fell against the US dollar trading at 45 Sudanese pounds against 1 US dollar.
Morocco: Argan oil production
In the Ourika valley located at the foothills of Marrakesh in Morocco, a new found oil is creating employment for women. Argan oil produced from harvested argan nuts.
Here the oil is produced by women grouped in cooperatives.
The rich argan oil, once pressed and refined, is both tasty and popular on international markets as an additive to cosmetics, soaps, shampoos and other products
