Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo has confirmed his intention to withdraw from the International Monetary Fund’s three-yea financial aid programme which is supported by an Extended Credit Facility.
In his second State of the Nation address to Parliament on Thursday, he added that “the relatively good macroeconomic performance in 2017 will strongly support the success of this programme”.
