2018 aviation market in Africa
The recently published International Air Transport Association economic outlook report says the slow pace of economic improvement in Africa is hindering the financial performance of the continent’s airlines.
But in spite of this, there is an anticipated 8% growth in air traffic and capacity expansion of 7.5% in 2018.
Tunisia: Olive production on a high
Tunisia has witnessed a boon in olives harvest this year by 20%. Tunisia eyes second place, after Spain as world top exporter.
It is planning to export about 200,000 tons of olive oil to 54 countries on the globe, and 35,000 tonnes for the local market.
