Today’s segment of This Is Culture focused on the proper documentation of African history and diverse cultures. An international book fair been held in Togo where the government is promoting Togolese and African culture in general.
Lenda Rudy Massamba, a Congolese writer was on the spotlight at the fair. The author devotes a large part of his works to highlight the connection between today’s world and the ancestral era. But most importantly he stresses on the importance of documenting the African heritage.
Lenda Massamba dreams of an Africa where students are educated in local languages as it is done in Japan, China or even Senegal.
