Stylists and fashion seekers met in in Cote d’Ivoire in the capital Abidjan for the 12th edition of the Africa Fashion Show.
Country’s designers showcased work that that depicted both the traditional and modern Africa in the contemporary world. The event accommodated both upcoming and the well known designers from all over Africa.
The show was not only seen as a place where designers can exhibit their talent but organisers say such events are also a reminder to people to support local textile industries.
Today, the fashion industry employs nearly 300,000 people in Ivory Coast…. a real opportunity contributing extensively to the economic development Of the country. Nearly 2000 fashion enthusiasts attended the event.
