Africa’s two biggest economies likely out of recession
Hopes are high for Africa’s economic giants Nigeria and South Africa as polls show a possible emergence from the economic recession in the second quarter.
Both have benefited from a recovery in commodity prices since early 2016 and they have bounced off the bottom, but the sustainability is in question.
Experts say Nigeria needs a single FX policy and South Africa needs more policy certainty.
