Local and legislative elections were held yesterday in the Republic of Congo amid empty streets and closed shops. No major incident was reported though a number of anomalies were recorded.
Delays were reported in some polling stations and the names of several voters did not match those on the voter listing. An election observer also reported about fraud cases in some of the offices in Poto-Poto which is located in Brazzaville.
