Tunisia
France and Tunisia have stressed the importance of strengthening security cooperation between the two countries in their “common fight” against terrorism.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, in the Tunisian capital Tunis, on Monday said that Tunisia was a “priority” for new French President Emmanuel Macron.
Le Drian also met with Tunisian president Beji Caid Essebsi, on his first trip to North Africa.
“This particular partnership is also a common fight against terrorism, as you said earlier, we have been by your side,
you have been on our side, and we need to strengthen our security cooperation.” the French foreign minister said.
He also revealed that a Frenchman was killed and seven others were wounded in the London terror attack.
