Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has signed a new two-year deal at the club.
Wenger’s contract had been due to expire on June 30 and the uncertainty over whether he would sign up for another cycle had cast long shadows over the past season.
Arsenal are expected to spend at least £100m on new players in the upcoming transfer window – which opens on 1 July – having also spent around that figure last summer.
