The Morning Call

Well globally, tourism represents one of the largest and fastest growing economic sectors in the world, contributing 9% of the global GDP.

At a time when the economic growth of Africa is bleak, and when diversification is major option for oil driven economies in Africa, tourism is indeed an option.

Today I spoke about culinary tourism which a major part of the sector.

They say one can tell a lot about the culture of a people and how much the they evolved through their cuisine.

And one the things that could keep tourist coming back to a destination is the food.

I had the privilege to interview chef Loic Dablé , here in our studio, a renowned chef who’s spoken extensively about promoting African cuisine.

Have a look .
