China ivory factories
Wildlife has long suffered illegal poaching.
Approximately 30, 000 elephants are killed in Africa each year causing a loss of about $25 million.
Good news! China, the world’s largest ivory market has recently decided to shut down its ivory processing workshops and retail stores across the country.
The total ban will take effect towards the end of this year.
