South Africa Football Association (SAFA) is set to unveil the new Bafana Bafana head coach after its international friendly against Angola later this month, Sport24 reports.
SAFA spokesperson Dominic Chimhavi revealed that the association had already sealed the deal with the new head coach and were just waiting to reveal his name.
The team has been without a coach since the end of December 2016 after SAFA sacked Shakes Mashaba for misconduct.
Earlier this month, Sport24 reported that Iran’s head coach, Carlos Queiroz and Morocco’s Herve Renard were SAFA’s top-two choices.
However, reports said both coaches confirmed that neither of them are interested in filling fill the void left by Mashaba.
Bafana Bafana face Guinea-Bissau at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday before squaing off with Angola three days later at Buffalo City Stadium in East London.
