It’s all over for another six months!
The January transfers has been and gone! Meaning that clubs from across Europe will now have to make do with what they have until the summer.
And while there haven’t been many ground-shaking mega-deals, there was plenty of activity for some African players in Europe. Victor Muisyo takes a random look at 7 of the deals.
Ant onto World Rugby sevens and Africa is top of the world! Last weekend saw South Africa’s Springboks thrash Fiji 26-7 in the final, to bag the Wellington 7s Main Cup! Kenya crashed out of the main cup, but went on to beat Australia 19-17 to win the Challenge Trophy.
The action this weekend now goes to Sidney, and both Kenya and South Africa have been pooled together in Pool A alongside Japan and England. That, and more!
