Music, theater and other artistic workshops were held at the sixth edition of the international forum of the caravan of the ten words.
The Caravan of the ten words is a cultural project that focuses on the French language.
The idea is to select ten words and encourage the public to create common cultural activities to discuss the words, their possible definitions, interpretations- giving rise to various artistic expressions.
The Caravan of the ten words is held every 2 years promoting discussion and understanding of the differences within the language
Thierry Auger, member of the Caravan of the ten words team explains, “Go fishing in the sense of words beyond their own definition in order to show the richness and diversity that every human being carries within him.
The 6th edition took place in the Madagascan capital, on the sidelines of the 16th Francophone summit.
The project creates the platform for people to positively identify similarities in their cultures and create a bond between them.
“Our objective is to show the inhabitants of Tàna that alongside an institutional and political Francophone, there is a cultural Francophone, A Francophone that belongs to the inhabitants of French-speaking territories and that we must show that we are all users of this language’‘, said Emilie Georget, also a member of the Caravan of the ten words team.
The caravan of the ten words aims to create a dialogue between people who speak a common language and hope to adapt the project to many other languages in different communities and countries.
