The ECOWAS Regional Electricity Regulatory Authority, is mandated to regulate cross-border trade in electricity in ECOWAS Member States. The chairman will be coordinating activities leading to the take-off of the regional power market; and will take the lead in ensuring transparency and a level playing field to attract and keep investors.
