Nigerian footballer sets new Guinness World Record


<p><strong>A Nigerian footballer, Harrison Chinedu has set a new Guinness World Record.</strong> </p> <p>Chinedu in the commercial city, Lagos set a new world record for distance traveled on bicycle with a football on the head, 103.6km.</p> <p>In a show of determination and skill, Chinedu was able to navigate the above distance with a ball placed in the centre of his head, <span class="caps">AFP</span> reports.</p> <p>Before this latest adventure, Chinedu had entered the Guinness Book of World Records after he became the first man to travel the farthest distance while balancing a football on his head.</p> <p>The Cambodia-based footballer set the record after walking from the Redemption camp on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, which is a total distance of 48.08km, on March 6.</p> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Nigerian footballer Harrison Chinedu cycled 64 miles with a football on his head, hoping to enter the Guinness Book of Records <a href="https://t.co/WMccvkXYDL">pic.twitter.com/WMccvkXYDL</a></p>— <span class="caps">AFP</span> news agency (@AFP) <a href="https://twitter.com/AFP/status/800698556860403712">November 21, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <p>The previous record was held by an Indian soldier, Naib Singh who walked a total distance of 45.64km with a ball on his head in his country in 2014.</p>
