Michelle Obama joins Hillary Clinton for the first time on the campaign trail in North Carolina, a battleground state in the race for the White House.
“She has more experience and exposure to the presidency than any candidate in our lifetime. Yes, more than Barack, more than Bill. So she is absolutely ready to be commander-in-chief on day one and, yes, she happens to be a woman.” said Michelle Obama, US First Lady.
Mrs. Obama is seeking to secure her husband’s legacy and Clinton hopes to propel women to the polls, the two women sought to celebrate their political marriage of mutual interest.

Speaking in Ohio, Trump promised to bar Syrian refugees from entering the US – if he becomes president.
“A Trump administration is going to suspend immigration from terror prone regions and we will suspend the Syrian refugee programme. That was easy. We are not going to take to risk when it comes to the safety of the American people, no longer.” said Donald Trump, US Republican presidential candidate.
Trump also claimed again that Clinton was corrupt. The New York businessman is currently trailing his Democratic rival in most national polls.
