At least three people were killed and two others injured in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Sunday, when a car exploded near a camp for internally displaced people.
The blast occured in Bondeere district where people fleeing conflict in other parts of are temporarily sheltered.
“Tonight’s suicide bomb exploded near a displaced people’s camp and some of the displaced were killed while others were injured by the blast,” said Bondeere District Commissioner, Qasim Abdulah Hassan.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but al- Shabaab militants have been responsible for a series of deadly attacks in the country.
