Africa’s football showpiece, the Cup of nations is just 2 months away promising excitement and possible upsets.
Some coaches have been talking about their sides’ prospects in the games.
“We’re the only team that will meet three former African champions since the DRC, Morocco and ivory coast have been champions of Africa. there is one group with three former African champions, that is our group”, Claude le Roy said.
The Coach of Togo’s national team is still scouting players for his team.
“If I can still get two or three players who are reluctant for the moment perhaps the draw will motivate them to join the hawks’‘, he added
Florent Ibenge, Coach of DRC said, “ for the moment it is a draw that is with tough opponents very good opponents and games that I think are going to be very tight”.
Cameroon Coach, Hugo Broos expects the host nation to put up a fight saying, “This is a group with Gabon. So this is not obvious if one is in the group with the host country.”
Gabon kick off the tournament on January 14 with debutants Guinea-Bissau.
