Tunisia
Tunisian long distance swimmer Oussama Mellouli says it would be a dream come true if he were to win a third straight Olympic gold in Rio.
The 32-year old won the 1500 metres title in Beijing 2008 and 10 kilometre event in London 2012.
Rio will be his fifth Olympic Games participation.
Mellouli said: “Like I said it’s an adventure that lasts four years and every adventure is very different. For me, I’ve been to five Olympics and every time it’s a true honour. This one is extra special because I’m a flag bearer, my country and a lot of fans are relying on me to perform and hopefully bring home another medal. That would be a dream come true.”
