Congolese still remember Madiba’s struggle for freedom.
‘’ Mandela sacrificed his own freedom… not only for the freedom of South Africans, but of Africa,’‘ said one reveller.

‘‘When he was put in office through presidential elections, he stayed for just one term and handed the reigns to other people, the world can never forget. And if other presidents could do that, it would be a good thing.”
For most Congolese, Mandela’s journey is a case study, especially in a period when some leaders are said to violate the rules of democracy to cling on to power.
